Here you will find all the tips on how to use the Bread Maker

1

Pour the amount of water indicated on the packet into the bread pan, add the sachet of yeast included, and mix together.

2

Add the 500 g of “Pane in Casa” Bread Mix and close the lid.

3

If you are using our bread maker, select programme 14 from the menu key for a crispier bread (Italian bread) or programme 15 for a softer bread.

If you are using a different brand of bread maker, use the programme indicated for wholemeal bread. Select the brown or dark baking level and press “Start”.

4

The machine will start the kneading process. After a couple of minutes, pour in the amount of salt indicated on the packet.

Now sit back and wait for the glorious smell of warm bread to waft through the house and get ready to enjoy your homemade “Pane in Casa”.

Your bread will be ready in around 3 hours and 10 minutes in programme 14 and in 2 hours and 30 minutes in programme 15.

  • If you use a programmed time to bake your bread, do not pour the yeast into the water but, instead, pour it into one corner of the mixture making a slight well and place the salt in the opposite corner.
  • When the bread is ready, remove the bread pan with a cloth because it will be very hot. Leave to cool for 10 minutes, then remove the bread.
  • The “Pane in Casa” bread mixes can also be kneaded by hand and, once proved for 2 hours in a switched-off oven with the light on, they can be baked in a preheated oven at 190° for around 45 minutes.
